ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old human boy. Asking me where I am from already awakens familiar feelings of identity crisis. I have 3 nationalities (USA,British,Brazilian) speak 3 languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese), grew up in Spain and moved around too much to really feel like I am from any particular place. No matter where I go I am always a foreigner, a traveller and a fellow human, so let´s just leave it at that.

At the moment, I am living in Brazil and have been here for almost a year. I work as a language teacher and spend most of my free time studying music, culture, going to the beach and trying to find fun events where I can meet new people!

I play the trumpet and am a Tuvan Throat Singer. I have never considered myself a musician or an artist, but I do have a tendency to explore this area of the cosmos.

I love to dance. Love to dance. Dance dance dance... JUST DANCE! Communication on a physical level is something of great importance to me so don´t get freaked out about hugs, kisses and sexy dance moves!

I love to exchange knowledge and wisdom with people. I am always in persuit of something new, especially in the form of "play". I have always been the "boy" in the group. Being the youngest of 3, this has played a big role on how I approach the world and always feel comfortable with people who are older than me. It also gives me a great chance to learn from their experiences and wonder at the marvelous things that people are able to do.

I live things emotionally and love is what inspires me to do everything.

I can talk forever. Please, tell me to shut up. Be blunt and truthful, I am not easily offended. I would rather dialogue about a problem than beat around the bush or simply ignore it.

As I said, I can talk forever, but I think it would be good for me to shut up now. No one wants to hear someone talk about themselves all the time, so... What about you? Who are you? What do you do? Why are you so beautiful? Tell me everything!

PHILOSOPHY

I ask myself the question a lot. I dont understand reality and I don't think anyone does. I am still discovering the path I walk. All I really know, is that I am a force of Good in the universe.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New member to the community as I haven´t had much opportunities to have a couch open for others. I didn´t want to feel like a parasite. I also have a weird thing for meeting people through the internet but... what the hell, its already 2013! I might as well keep up with the times :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have family members and many close friends who use the service and are members of the community! I have been to a few events and met a couple people but have never really gotten myself involved until now.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. I love music and everything to do with it. Almost any style can be extremely enjoyable! But to my ears... No matter how hard I try, and believe me I have really really tried, but reggae just makes me go completely insane in a bad way. No reggae, please god, anything but reggae.

I need recommendations, I dont read enough!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well... Some people say I have done amazing things, but I always feel like I haven't done enough. But I have truly seen magic and wonder in this world.

The most amazing thing I have probably seen is Love. And it manifests itself in every possible way imaginable. From simply saying the words, the touch of ones lips, the warm cup of tea in front of the fire... all the way to 300 thousand people jumping at the beat of the same drum! Love is everywhere and I remember every single time I have seen it.

So... nothing in particular, I just think that I am privalleged to be alive and life is amazing it itself.
