There are far too many things to do, and they are all delightful. But, as they say, you have to stand on a mountain a very long time with your mouth open before a cooked goose flies into it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Two unplanned visits to Petra (Jordan) two years apart each resulted in couchsurfing (cavesurfing?) experiences with very hospitable Bedouins and vodka-filled watermelons. That was great.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Went on a 6 week caving expedition in Northern Spain. There's this mountain with a big cave at the top and a big cave at the bottom: the mission was to see if they were connected because if they were it would be one of the deepest caves in the world. (On the following year's expedition the cave divers found out that they were connected - but only underwater).

Anyway, spending weeks a mile under the earth, cold and wet and covered in duct-taped blisters ("harness hip") and then emerging and seeing color and sunlight for the first time and collapsing in the warmth... absolute bliss.
