About Me

CURRENT MISSION

trying to combine studies and travel and getting out as much as I can;)

ABOUT ME

I am spontaneous, outgoing, very excited about everything new, easy going, positively thinking and enjoy company

getting to know people from all over the world is a big and important part of my live just as travelling and seeing/doing/experiencing as many things as possible.

a student exchange to mexico made my travel bug grow and grow ever bigger untill it now culminated in a 19 months trip around the world (definitely not my last one ;) )

another very big and important part in my life is the music...i play the saxophone in several orchestras and ensembles.

PHILOSOPHY

live your life and enjoy the moment

Be authentic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a lot and I surfed a lot, I met wonderful people who I can call friends now and I am always trying to keep this moving

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

quite a few all around the world...i just keep loving it :D

Interests

I am very interssted in other people and their oppinions, philosophies, different cultures and cuisines....especially cuisines :P

I love hiking, scuba diving and pretty much any adventurous outdoor activity and depending where I am also a nice stroll through town ;)

when time and money allow it i like to go out with friends to the theatre or opera or just going for a drink.
travel made me like photography a lot but unfortunately i neither really have the knowledg nor the equipment as my last camera died in the harsh and cold sand in the namibian desert

I love to cook and even more to eat...wherever I can I keep trying new stuff and try to learn how to prepare it. Same goes for drinks just I'm much better in consuming than making them ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

hard to say...keep listening ;)
Mostly classical or electronic music though

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

beeing outside in the hills in northern sweden at -45°C when the eylashes freeze

the vast openess of tierra del fuego in argentina

going out for a dive in South Africa and ending up swimming with 25 dolphins that accompanied our boat

Teach, Learn, Share

I think travelling itself is the best way of learning.

I like to learn everything I get offered and I try to teach what I know...maybe now some Thai dishes after going to cooking class in Chiang Mai ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Heaps of Travel stories, a good wine and food....best when all together :D
