Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We think it's a very interesting idea to share your experiences, to go deeper into the culture, to feel the genuine aura of a society. And it would feel terrible to stay with others via couchsurfing and not being hosts as well...

Music, Movies, and Books

Tobi: I really like Coldplay but I'm open to nearly any kind of music. My favourite movie is Gladiator with Russell Crowe ("And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next." <3). Ken Follett, Dan Brown and some Germans (Andreas Eschbach, Frank Schätzing, Marc Elsberg...) and of course the great John Tolkien (we owe him so much) are some of my favourite authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not the type of guy to perform "amazing" things. But life itself is amazing. And my wife is.

I can teach you some crumbs of German. I can show you some great spots in nature and viewpoints. I can NOT show you the greatest party-spots, but I can show you the people who can.
