About Me

Quit my job in Germany to make a bicycle tour through the USA, from San Francisco to New York.
Hope to have a good time i never forget, to make a lot of new experiences and to meet great people.

P.S.:
Yep, it's my real name and it looks like the guys of Arrested Development are big fans of mine to "steal" it for David Cross.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Always better to share. Happiness, time, dinners, whatever. I had super experiences with "foreign" people in the past, hope couchsurfing is fun too.

I'm open minded, know 2-3 jokes and I'm happy to learn more about other people's perspective of life and their culture.

Just a good feeling to know that most of the people are "basically good" and you can share great moments with people you never met before, maybe also become friends for the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
"all kinds of", but especially:
was skateboarding back in the days --> good old hiphop and instrumental stuff
ran a nightclub for five years with guests like Detroit Swindle, Andhim or Jeremy Underground --> quality house music
love to relax with a book and cup of tea --> psych rock & jazz
check my name --> funk & soul

BOOKS
love to find new perspectives and books to inspire me. I have a lot of literary heros, for example Hesse, Fromm, London, Thoreau, Kerouac, Tolstoi, Dostojewski, etc etc.

MOVIES
a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

make a lot of cool experiences and i always try to increase them.

in a physical way/biking my best moments of 2015:
- back from Amsterdam to Germany in one day (270 km)
- climbing the Mont Ventoux and other highlights of the Tour de France with 20 kilo of luggage on a 2 week trip from Germany to Marseille / Mediterranean Sea

let's not WRITE too much about this category. let's share our experiences and thoughts of life while having a drink.

What I Can Share with Hosts

i love cooking. normally i come back home at the evening and cook/relax. every day, a lot of different styles. a sad aspect of my us-trip: i can t cook regulary. so i would love to cook a dinner for you, beer/wine is fine too.

attentione: i m a vegetarian, so i cook without meat/fish. but i m sure you will like the food although.
