About Me

Hi to you who reads my profile :D

I'm an open minded person who loves to push boundaries in all different stages of live. Crazy things like swimming in the ice, dangerous rock climbing or hitchhiking keep me alive.
Currently I live and work in Munich as an automotive designer (for those who are into cars: I design the head- and taillights for AUDI). I like to socialize with people, be it grabbing a beer, attending a club or playing all sorts of games.
Besides I paint passionately landscapes or portraits, mostly of friends or my family so far.

I try to follow a healthy way of nutrition, if possible cooking from scratch.

I really like hitchhiking (aka carsurfing lol), it is almost kind of sport for me, figuring out where the best spots to wait are and getting to know new people on the road. Besides couchsurfing it is one of the best ways to get to know a country and the people living in it.

From March 2017 to February 2018 I did a big journey across North America and a bit of France and Germany, mostly hitchhiking and doing some volunteering work.

Whenever possible I try to either paint paintings, or being out in the mountains, hiking, climbing or taking pictures with my camera, collecting new inspirations for upcoming paintings.

If the weather is bad and I am tired of painting, I like to attend to art museums, and have a look how the old masters painted.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing, because I love to get to know new people and connect on a deeper level you wouldn't manage as a normal tourist.

Couchsurfing is definitely one of the best ways to get to know new people!

I met so many different people on couchsurfing and had the chance to get to know many different ways of living. My life was enriched by their hospitality and sharing their life! Everytime I get inspired and figure out, if this can fit to my life later, when I will be back in Germany.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to almost every sort of music, depending on my mood. But to name a few of my favourite interpreters: Linkin Park, Hans Zimmer and SDP(a german group of musicians). I kind of like some old stuff like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dire straits, ACDC, pink floyd, the journey, and so on...

Books:
Illusions!(Richard Bach)
George Orwell, J.K. Rowling, others...

Movies: Star Wars (except the no.7),

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been chrystal mining once in Switzerland in 2016! It was amazing and I'm absolutely on to do it again!

I was looking for a title of a song for over 8 years. Eventually I found it: 'Right now' by Akon :-)

My amazing trip across North America, which would have been not that funny if my friends hadn't given me crazy bucket list with some really insane tasks I was supposed to do.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some people admire the way how I leave comfort zones in my live. Honestly, most of the times I don't really think about it, but if you want I can teach you how to make small steps into the direction you might aim for. I am kind of restructuring my life since over 4 years now, and I know some good questions to ask and to challenge you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could teach you how to cook real German "Spätzle"! It's some kind of German pasta, with lots of cheese and tons of fried onions on top! {Woohooooo :-) Onions!}
I learned how to solve a Rubiks Cube, when I was in Ontario. I could show you the algorithms.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Italy, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
