About Me
Just finished 100 months in the Navy! (March 2016)
Been living in Japan for the last 7 years and now I'm finally back in US. Working on becoming a Data Engineer, specializing in financial trading, but whenever I'm not working on that, I love to make new friends, meet new people, laugh really loud, have awesome conversations about everything, and just making awesome memories. I truly believe that everyday we should do our best to improve 1 of 3 areas in our lives; Health, Wealth & Relationships. If we do, we can confidently say, no day has been wasted. Anywho to anyone that reads this in hopes of getting to understand me a little better, I'd say 1. Many thanks for taking the time, 2. I'd be shocked if we're not friends in 10 mins, 3. Anyone who is willing to open their house to a complete stranger has my ultimate respect, and obviously has to be a bad ass person so even if we don't meet, keep doin' you! :) That is all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel - not necessarily for the destinations or the sight seeing, but mostly for the new types of people you meet. I've been living in Japan the last 7 years, and I've been fortunate to travel all across Asia. But after you've been to hundreds of shrines and temples, drank hundreds of different types of wine's, beers, and sake's, and eaten 20 different variations of rice, the only thing that never feels the same is meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Anything without a voice, lol. I find lyrics distracting. Music for me is more of a ambient noise filler, too many awesome projects to work on to get distracted with lyrics, especially since now a days most lyrics are depressing and sad.
Movies - The ones where you can't predict the ending.
Books - Biographies! :) You can only see further if you stand on the shoulders of Giants. And you can only make human progress if you don't repeat the same mistakes as those who've gone before you. I hope someday someone reads my biography and they find that whatever my weakness was, it was an original one.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Communicated and connected to someone's heart in another language. One of the most beautiful moments of my life.

Love learning, listening to peoples stories, and finding ways to contribute and make peoples lives a more rich experience for having met me.
