Overview
About Me
Hey, I'm Tobi, nice to meet you!
I am currently working as project lead in web development and in business development for a small engineering agency. Traveling as often as possible - having the luxury that I can take work with me wherever I go.
While I'm very goal driven, I love living my life without planning much to equal parts. For me it's all about the balance.
I like to tease and to be teased. I'm always up for a good adventure and can laugh about myself. Generally, my friends say I'm a very relaxed and spontaneous person with an open mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and discovering cities from a local's point of view. Moreover, I'm really looking forward to meet many new friends and like-minded people.
Interests
I'm a very versatile and curious guy. I love music, play the (classical) guitar and sometimes (try to) sing. On the other hand I do a lot of sports, love surfing, riding my motor bike through mountain slopes and trying new things. I don't mind getting my hands dirty. Built a cajon once (does emit drum-like noises now). Picked up Freeletics this year.
Also, I do enjoy a good party but at the same time, I also enjoy just to chill the night with a good glass of wine or beer.
A few weeks ago on a road trip, in an ironic move that has turned serious way to quickly, I got IG. If you're curious: @nobsinstaboy

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading. Travelling also gives me the time to follow this passion. Picked up Sapiens recently and it has proved to be an interesting read. Pick my brains about it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Booked the flights to hitch-hike from Tehran to Dubai with a good friend, making plans at the very end of platform 7 at Zurich main station, while the sun was setting over the field of tracks. It was a magical moment.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- I know my way around a kitchen - my signature morning Müsli is a great kickstart into the day - with ingredients that are available almost everywhere.
- I love to listen to and share stories from travels and life.
- If you have a guitar and time, I can teach you one or two chords. Or let's just strum and sing together.
