Hi, I am from Munich, in Germany. But I have been studying dentistry in Budapest at Semmelweis University for the past 3 years. It has been the most amazing time of my life so far, I made so many really good friends who I can count as family now. We loved to explore the town together, drinking coffee, enjoying good food in restaurants or cooked by ourselves and having some beer in some of the awesome clubs in Budapest. And I even enjoyed learning more and more at university.
Anyway there always has been a part of me that wanted to experience something different. So I just decided to take a year off, and do the other thing I really love: Traveling
Since I have been really lucky, I don't even have to do it alone, but with one of the persons who are the most important for me.
So we started last February in Singapore and since then we have been moving northwards, passing​ Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Hongkong. By the time it's getting summer we wanted to continue to China, Mongolia and afterwards propably heading back by the Transsibirian Railway or even the trans manchurian.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Well, I've never done exactly this before but I did something similar. 2 years ago I've been to Tanzania for an internship for 2 months so I luckily found a hostfamily there and that was the best what could happen to me. We were cooking together, watching the football world championship, I was told some basics in Swahili, we even went to a wedding...
The other time was in beginning of this year when I was traveling in Cameroon together with my sister to support different projects. So we luckily had a lot of contacts there who really soon became our friends. :)
So after all, what I really like is that while "couchsurfing" you don't only see a new place but you also experience and understand it. It's much more than a place to sleep.
