Hello friends, guests and possible hosts,

my name is Tobi and I'm 20 years old. I'm from the small town Goslar in Germany and I'm about to move to Hanover in Autumn. Until my university life begins, I try to travel around the world. My first step was my Chile trip from december to march. It was fantastic and I felt the taste of freedom and independence. I was surprised about the warm hospitality of people who hosted me and my friend (we couchsurfed with her account - I had no CS during this time)!

I'd consider myself as an open-minded, friendly guy, who's always interested in meeting new people. Of course I'm very thankful and happy about everyone who will host me during my next trips. Thus I want to give something back. So if you're interested to visit Hanover or Goslar, feel always free to ask for a night on my couch.

I'm an uncomplicated person. Obviously I can show you the city with, but if you'd like to explore the city on your own and if you need time for yourself, it's no problem!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came to Couchsurfing because I used it with a friend's account for the first time earlier this year. I've never heard about it, but I was fascinated from day one. I met heaps of interesting and characterful people.

I'll continue my trip in western parts of Europe this year and I guess that I sometimes want to stay with locals. In my opinion the idea of Couchsurfing - to share your home, to meet new people from all over the world, to stay local - is exciting and modern. It fits to my way of thinking.
