ABOUT ME

Hi im Toby, I am 35 and have been travelling off and on since early may 2010. Food is up there with the best things about travelling and one thing i really miss is being able to cook for others and myself! I am a pretty easy going and get along with most people. I love being on the road and meeting people from different countries and cultures. Discussing anything over a drink and a meal is probably one of my all time favourite activities so If you want to know more i am always up for a cup of coffee (morning) or an ice cold beer (afternoon)... just send me a message!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to be a backpacker until life and age started to mature me and the man got me down. I really enjoyed the generosity of the people I stayed with through CS so want to try and give back a little. Can't offer my house so try to offer a hotel room instead.

- southern 'tibet-sichuan highway'
- outrageous northern-most border crossing from vietnam to laos (11hrs for 100km)
- got drunk and ate questionable meat with the tourist police in cambodia
- Tiger leaping gorge trek in China
