bit of an odd person,

Have spent most of my adult life in a great mixture of countries and professions, Have a deep love and curiosity for the world and all the interesting stuff going on in it.

The beauty of life

I am a combination of someone who feels a great need to be close to nature and live in a beautiful environment(probably the effect on me of living in Tokyo & Bangkok) I like big citys, but need a lot of space around me, So life in rural france for two years.. got me over living in a concrete box in japan
I like gardening, growing things to eat and living a fairly simple life. Photography and technology, understand machines well. dream of settling down with a patient and kind woman in the countryside sometime.. surrounded by lots of machines to make communication and various chores easier..

but until that comes together, I should probably travel a little more..

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy thinking about things, I often can guess how things work, and this can apply to machines or to understanding the politics, Philosophy and culture of a country or people.
My philosophy on life is quite deep, I often get depressed with the way the world is, and the problems that is is quite blindly facing; However I also have learned to enjoy life more, without being the pessimist that i was a few years ago.

My philosophy of choice;
Plenty of vegetables and appreciation of what we have, have done and will do.
Try to catch the Salmon of Knowledge.. Eat him, complain to the waiter.. and only tip if the waitress has nice legs and a bad attitude..

I have made a few good friends, and chatted with a few people giving them advice on msn about a few of the places I have been.

Oxford has been quite cool on CS . Met a few people new to town and enjoyed being their local contact.

Random CS. I have met, while traveling; many Couchsurfers, In fact last time in holland, I was walking along the street, started chatting with a couple of people sitting outside their house, found out they where couchsurfers, and they invited me for dinner, and to stay two nights.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love music, especially if it is good, Alot of people think i am a musician, however i have only ever managed to play one well once.The spirit of an african Djambe came out .. into my hands and for one night, i could play.

Films.. Love watching films. have allsorts from modern action films, to black and white classics.

Books.. I must admit, that I can not read! its true, but can manage typing & emails as this relates to my spacial intelligence and aptitude with computers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My life has been amazing.. Lots of examples, jungles mountains, cities and half of the worlds culture.

Jungle treks and Tarzan stuff go well with me.. Love Jungles and listening to how much other people don't .. once soaked, hungry, getting friendly with new little parasitic friends...

Ever tried a Jungle Solo trek . would recommend . but also advise caution, as the world without other humans.. is playful on the mind beyond explanation.
