About Me
Im a bit of nerdy sucker for rhetoric devices and line crossing jokes, besides that I'm like the biggest hammock fetishist and well showered hitchhiking traveller.
Recently moved to Munich and saving up for my own campervan. In between coming up with marketing schemes and nerding about gadgets Im a huge fan of the outdoors. Hand me my backpack and I'll be out hiking before you will have put your pack on.
I am also a huge hammock fetishist. Big enough to have founded my own hammock brand, making lazy people out there lead a happier life.
I am a pretty laidback guy. Respect the basic rules, or as some may call it "common sense" and we might just get along fine. Im the one to do the childish stuff with but when we are finished goofing around we can have a serious conversation as well. Even though I sometimes prefer goofing around. Did I already mention I'm damn laidback?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Who else should I tell all those stories to?
I have extensively couchsurfed and hosted over the last years. And I have derived nothing but pure joy and funny stories from it. I do feel the need to give back to this community and uphold the principles that couchsurfing was and is about. When I host you do not expect a free bed. Thats what you pay AirBnB for. Prepare yourself to pay me back by being a good sport and company willing to share their part of experiences.
Withouth Couchsurfing I would have not been able to experience any of the following:
Hitchinking to the most awesome beach in Portugal in the back of a Pick Up?
Having Breakfast in Paris, just because I felt like it after waking up at home?
Making a roadtrip through Sweden with a car we just won?
Sneaking into skyscrapers in Montréal and watching the sunset from the roof?
Crashing at a random farm and helping to milk the cows in the morning with 4 friends on my way back from Amsterdam just because we forgot the tent?
Sleeping on top of a cliff and getting woken up by wild horses.
I have no interest whatsoever for this to stop. So come on over and take part.
