Hello, I'm from Germany. Currently at the end of my studies abroad in Canterbury, UK and leaving at the end of July. I'm back on here because I'm planning on traveling more in the next 4 months. Among other things, I'm planning on attending a 10-day Vipassana silent meditation retreat in August and walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain for 4-5 weeks in September. I always enjoy meeting new people, exchanging ideas and stories :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to get to know new people. I think it's always a powerful platform for cultural exchange and creating a sense of global connectedness. We may all seem different on the surface but beneath that we're pretty alike. And I think to realise that is one of the greatest joys in life.
I'm a curious person and I like to broaden my horizon by the exchange of stories and ideas.

Interests

I like doing sports in order to stay fit. I like running, cycling, working out and I'm currently trying to get more agile with a mix of yoga and stretching. I'm also trying to build a meditation routine. I feel like I've been focusing too much on the wrong things in the past years and that meditation can help me to broaden my vision of the world and of life. And so too can this app.
