About Me

PLEASE READ THE HOME SECTION

I live together with my cat. I live vegan and try to live as environment-friendly and sustainable as i can. The climate crisis is concerning us all, so everyone should try to cause as least harm as possible.

Please take the train or bus if you travel. I know a lot of couchsurfers are flying from one place to another.

Please consider exploring the places that are reachable by train or bus. I know it's more intriguing to travel a long way fast, but that's no excuse considering the problems that climate change will cause.

I decided to quit flying for good (I only flew twice back and forth). There is more to find in europe than I have life time left.

Please don't bring any non-vegan food to our home.

Self Summary:

I am an an open-minded, contemplative Person who loves music, likes to meet new people, but also spend time on my own. In my free time I organize an (music) Open Stage and Living Room Concerts in cologne (mostly singer/songwriter and folk-music). But I also play music myself (guitar & singing; singer/songwriter, folk, blues, rock) .

When I am not doing that, I love biking, videogames, going to (small) concerts, meet with people to play music or have interesting conversations.

I've been living vegan since late 2014 and I love to try and experience new food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's an awesome possibillity to meet interesting and inspiring people, to connect with people and to see the place you visit from another perspective. Even as a host I found new places in my area through some of my guests. :)

Also I like the idea that you're not only taking, but you also giving something to the person who hosts you or stays with you. May it be a good conversation, a delicious meal, a song or a lesson in a language or musicial instrument, it's an enrichment for both sides in my opinion.

PLEASE NOTICE: We also host male couchsurfers, but seldom get requests by males, so most of the references are from female couchsurfers. I know that some host only females, but as I said, we are welcoming both men and women, so don't hesitate to send us a request.

You don't have to read all my profile before you are sending me a request, just let me know a bit about you and your plans when visiting. You should enjoy your journey and not spend your time reading all Hosts profiles ;)

I usually offer a place to sleep for 1-2 nights, but if we get along well, we are also open-minded to let you stay longer.

Teach, Learn, Share

If there's enough time I can show you nice places in Cologne, Brühl or Bonn.

I can teach you how to play viking chess (way easier than actual chess), card or board games (the latter would take a bit time I guess, so it depends how much time we have ( Here are a few games I can teach you:

-Werewolf (role-play game, only playable with 6 or more People)

What I Can Share with Hosts

-delicious vegan food
-advice how to live sustainable and environment friendly
-handmade Music
