ABOUT ME

I'm a fine young man, if somewhat shy, living in the suburbs of Stockholm. Discovered the point, albeit not meaning, of existing quite late by most standards. But as a twenty-something, I now want to discover the world. Foremost for the quite egotistical reason of creating. I love art, music and literature - but these things need to be filled with the ambiance of places, atmosphere of cities and voices (and maybe auras) of people. But also, hopefully, to make friends, be a friend and do some fun, weird or otherwise interesting stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

Really, either nothing exists within me, or everything does. The only way to live is therefore to create experiences via communication and visions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's nice with a cheap place to stay and (being/having) a guide to teach you the basics, but (!) I'm here to have fun, to learn and teach, to meet interesting people. So not being able to hang out is always a minus - no matter if it's because of the host or the surfer.

So far... that hasn't been an issue =)

Interests

Literature; especially transgressive fiction but also classics and current critic favorites. Music; house, metal, indie, hip hop. Modern art and photography. Cities, architecture, ambiance. Beer (something of a connoisseur). Fishing, discussions, listening.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything related to the following topics: transgression (Bukowski, Coupland, Kubrick), zombies, alternating realities (Alice in Wonderland, Murakami, house music), subversiveness (indie-pop, punk, hip hop) or alternative history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing that I could seriously describe as "amazing" really. But taking a sauna bath and jumping into a river in northern Sweden is so far the most beautiful thing I can remember.

Also, peyote - and if you can't dig it, you'll probably not dig me...

Teach, Learn, Share

Input on swedish politics, ethical debating, writing mini-workshops (for learning, sharing, teaching). Also currently out to learn spanish, so that doesn't hurt...
