ABOUT ME
When I was little my parents called me "half fish, half mountain goat" because I spent so much time either jumping into any available body of water of climbing up anything I could get my hands on, including trees, mountains, furniture, and my older brother. I can't say I've changed much since then. I have always had a need to challenge my body and explore. I like to try on different people, places, and lifestyles, and have been blessed to find many kindred spirits on my journey. No matter where I go I try to remain my smart, goofy, affectionate, and introverted self.
PHILOSOPHY
When you think it's time to turn around, just go a little bit further and you will find your way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I really like Wes Anderson films, Life is Beautiful, and classic French films like The Red Balloon and Breathless. I am always in search of a new favorite movie.
Music: Living in Montana swayed my opinion in favor of bluegrass, but I love funk and old-timey blues.
Books: I love Toni Morrison and Zora Neale Hurston but will read pretty much anything I can get my hand on. I love books, especially those borrowed from friends. Catch 22 is next on the list, and the last thing I read was the Hunger Games trilogy (great if you're going through a break up :) ).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My mom and I rented a car in Old Havana and took a road trip around western Cuba. We had no plan, just picked up hitch-hikers and took them wherever they wanted to go.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to crochet, make kombucha and/or kefir, change your brake pads and rotors, write an essay, make ravioli, identify California or Montana native plants, surf, kayak, make a fire in the rain, play cribbage, do a cartwheel, do ashtanga yoga and probably some other things too!
