Overview
About Me
Hello,
my name is Toby. I´m a music enthusiastic from the Franconian area (Nuremberg) in Germany.
My friends describe me as an open-minded, forbearing but impetuous person. I welcome new challenges, adventures and also pitfalls – experiences that teach the most important lessons ;)
Making it short – what I like:
– good music (i.e., Funk/Jazz/Progressive/Hip Hop/Soul)
– cooking – its about maintaining the soul resisting the daily trouble (vegetarian/vegan dishes only)
– hanging out in the countryside (going for a hike, doing climbing, entering rivers or the water in any sense)
– riding my bike
– literature
– leaving the comfort zone and surprise my self
What I do not like:
– bad tea (i.e., lukewarm tea water)
– disrespect, intolerance, runaway egos
– winter time
– Air conditioner (I´m getting sick of it, and I love the heat ;) )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
how simple is this – meeting and hosting people from any place of this jolly planet.
So its about hospitality and giving back this hospitality in a certain point of time in the future.
The old give-and-take premise, if you want. In a nutshell it is about solidarity, and add solitary to life and planet earth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That totally is up to the eyes of the observer. Let´s have a chat about "amazing things" and share stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
Language and music instruments are a playground to be welcome
What I Can Share with Hosts
Currently, I´m located at a beautiful franconian city called Bamberg (close to Nuremberg). It is notorious for its historic city centre and of course - its opulence of beer (yeah, its Bavaria!!!). I´m not so much into the secrets of brewing beer, I even don´t like drinking to much, but here are some great site to show you.
So don´t hesitate and come around ;)
