About Me

I grew up in Swindon, with Wickford in Essex being somewhere in the middle, and I now make my home in Milton Keynes, Britain's newest town.

I'm an IT Support Technician at a local school, supporting students with severe autism and learning disabilities.

I'm a very likeable person, kind-hearted and generous but also strong enough not to be used.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love meeting new people, more so those from different cultures and learning from them

Interests

Astronomy, writing (I've got an e-book published), filmmaking, eating out, the arts, history and so much more...

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite movies

Cafe Del Flore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3HAgq7aQOk

Books

I have two treasured books. The first is none fictional but written with laugh out loud humour, sadly it's no longer in print it is called Accidental Empires by Robert X Cringely.

My second favourite book is a fictional one, The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf, the words are beautifully crafted together, the style of her writing is art in itself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting Donkeyboy (The band) in Norway and being on the radio and local newspaper after Cato gave me his first gold plate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love psychology and can certainly help anyone who studying it to 'A' Level standard.

I can be a good cook

Cleaning - LOL I'm pretty good at homemade ecological cleaning. I can certainly show you how to clean without spending stupid amounts of money on commercial products. Homemade washing detergent is very good.

What I Can Share with Hosts

You'll never be short of something to do in Milton Keynes. Offering some of the most exciting activities and some of the best entertainment experiences in the UK, Milton Keynes is a truly exceptional destination to visit.

Shopping - Milton Keynes started the modern concept of the European shopping experience. In the city centre you'll find all-encompassing shopping malls with over 400 shops and throughout the surrounding areas you can discover boutique village shops and farmer's markets.

Sport and Activities - From indoor skiing on real snow to watersports, indoor sky-diving and a state-of-the-art football stadium, Milton Keynes is definitely sports mad. Home to the national centre for badminton and close to the Silverstone racing circuit and Towcester racecourse... you can experience loads of sports and activities in Milton Keynes!

Leisure - Are you crazy about theme parks? Do you want to walk with dinosaurs? Would you like to relax in 4,500 acres of parks and woodland? Milton Keynes is the "city in the country", a purpose-built environment where trees count for as much as concrete. Our green spaces are home to tree-top walks and exciting theme parks. Walk under our trees, through their canopies, or enjoy the rides in their midst.

Culture, history and more - Award-winning galleries and theatres, stately homes, medieval abbey ruins and traditional village pubs, Milton Keynes is a cultural and historical oasis. And with the fastest-growing "after 6pm" culture outside London, you'll find every type of food, drink and entertainment experience you could want.
