Overview
About Me
Pretty laid back, may be laziness, but i get on with most kinds of people, be they greeny hippies or science nerds. certainly prefer a pub to a club though...
My family has a place in Chiang Mai so I come back whenever I have some time to kill and have been every year since I was little. Happy to show travellers round or meet permanent residents, especially any that can teach me Thai or how to cook
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Will host once I have my own place but currently just chilling in Chiang Mai

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: gangster films like Godfather I & II, Scarface, Tarantino films etc. Also Into the Wild, The Bucket List and any Adam Sandler film, even Jack and Jill
Music: ragtime, folk, jazz, blues and rock. Don't mind some electronic music, like Moby and C2C, but generally not a fan of hip hop, gangster rap or random computer noises. Nothing wrong with them, just not my cuppa tea.
Books: I've read biographies of a few musicians and recently been reading some Buddhist literature (not that I follow it myself) but not much of a reader so don't particularly have a favourite
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not very good at guitar but if you're terrible I might be able to show you some things. I also have degrees in materials engineering and intellectual property law but not exactly something people travel to learn about...
Currently want to learn some basic Thai, how to play the harmonica and how to cook.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bhutan, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Monaco, Nepal, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, United States
