ABOUT ME

I am an avid traveller and always feel restless being in one place for a long period of time. I thirst for travel round the world, but only if it is of benefit to whom I travel towards. I prefer to work in a country rather than treat it as a party playground. I think it is our responsibility to travel responsibly, environmentally and socially.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a whole lot and surfed a whole lot! Haven't hosted for a long while thoughr, not since I moved out of London. So want to do that whole hosting thing again. I surfed through USA for about 7 weeks which was pretty awesome and done some surfing in continental Europe too. I once wrote an article for a Liverpool based magazine on the joys of Couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Paris, Amsterdam, Zagreb & Ljubljana in Europe, and Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans and Austin in USA. All very positive. It can be awkward very occasionally but pretty much only in the sense of the surfer being quite reliant on the host sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled to Madagascar,
Was in a great band,
Worked on a farm for a year.
Sang in a choir in Germany.
Made TV appearances with my ex-band.
Sang a Swedish boy band song to a whooping crowd in a Eurovision competition.
Couchsurfed USA for 7 weeks continuously!
Recording my latest record was a bit of proud achievement for me...
