Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to surf myself, however, I have met many surfers during my travels. I have stayed in many airbnb homes and hosted travelers from all over the globe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have backpacked Europe alone in the Summer of 2012. I covered 10 countries in about 45 days.

I took a boat from Panama to Colombia and slept on indigenous islands with local indians.

I slept on the top of a volcano in Nicaragua.

I took a two week motorcycle trip across northern Thailand.

I am currently taking one month to ride a motorbike from Saigon to Hanoi, Vietnam.

I travel alone...always.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been teaching sports medicine and tennis for most of my life. I was just recently certified to teach yoga in Rishikesh, India which is known as the birthplace of yoga.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, particularly Cajun food. I have an extensive knowledge about tennis, running, sports medicine, meditation, yoga, and travel hacking. I also own a hostel in Lafayette, Louisiana, USA which was recently coined "the happiest city in America."
