HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Primarily I have been surfing and have been fortunate to get onto to some awesome waves and enjoy some unforgettable experiences leading to some beautiful friendships. I will soon have the right set up and flatmate to host here in Birmingham. In that time I also hope to couchsurf in Bristol, and Amsterdam as I will have some time to travel! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started couch surfing 2009 when I went to live in Spain for an Erasmus exchange. Couchsurfed in Barcelona, Madrid and Sevile having a great experience on all accounts. Was able to give back in Edinburgh and had some wonderful surfers, until final year deadlines destroyed our hosting capabilities. I surfed in Tanzania and Uganda 2012 and 2013 which opened doors, eyes, and mind in a truly positive way. I recommend couchsurfing if you want the opportunity to meet wonderful people.

兴趣

Anything, depends on how it's communicated. Tend to focus on big issues making me somewhat serious, i like to try and translate between cultures and build bridges. Big interest in East Africa, chunk of my heart is there. Using art for education and activism. Marginalisation, movement of people and plants, segregated cities, even walls at the moment. Believing and participating in communities, dancing, dancing, MUSIC!!!
