About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be happy =)
ABOUT ME
I think I could describe myself as a spectator of the world.
What I mostly enjoy in life is watching things happening.
Lying in a park to watch people living and interacting.
Wandering in the streets or in the middle of nowhere to get lost.
Trying to find new places to enjoy good food, good wines/beers/whiskies, good company/conversation, good atmosphere.
Landing somewhere in a foreign country without any plans to simply think "Ok. And now ?".
Spending hours staring at the wind in the trees or the reflections of light around me.
Listening to people around me or reading above their shoulder to know what they are concerned about.
Talking for hours about anything to enjoy the simple pleasure of conversation.
One may say that I'm quite a passive guy. That's not totally wrong. I'd answer that I'm active in my mind.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and try to be happy with what life gives you and what you take from it, whatever your philosophy and beliefs are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Traveling. Surfing. Hosting. Sharing moments.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted alone and with my wife in several places, I've met people from many countries, and we started hosting last year when we moved in together. So far, I've never had any bad experience: only positive people who make you want to share things with them (stories, recipes, advice, games, smiles & laughters, ...)
Interests
Writing (mostly novels, that I'm now trying to publish and promote... more info here: https://toccacieli.wordpress.com)
Music (all kinds, from jazz to rock, from electro to classical, ... some music from my previous band available here: http://www.soundcloud.com/makaramdam)
Cooking (with almost anything I can find in the kitchen) during hours, and then spending the whole night around the table, eating, drinking, talking...
Sharing time with good friends
Getting lost in the middle of nowhere, particularly in mountain, and enjoying the silent beauty of everything around...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Be a dad to an amazing daughter :)
Concerning travel experiences, the most amazing times I had were through people I met, everywhere I've been. In all cultures and countries, I've been lucky enough to live and experience wonderful things.
But I think my luckiest moments were after I blocked my credit card the day I landed in India, and found myself stuck there with almost no money...
Teach, Learn, Share
I was in an engineering school, so if I can help anyone about that...
Or help you with your french, if you want...
And I can cook quite good dishes with almost anything ! ^^
