About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Tackling Europe and meeting the best folks around
ABOUT ME
Just an easy-going, open-minded and all-around friendly guy. I'm having the time of my life studying here in Arnhem and having a great experience seeing Europe for the first time. I'm a student from California that loves studying marketing but I'm planning on switching to pre-medicine once I move back this summer to do something more challenging and fulfilling. I grew up in California but I'm glad to be able to have found a new (temporary) home in the Netherlands.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to be the kind of person that my friends or anyone really can come to for support and for a positive outlook. I think people in general are good and that diversity is great and I can't wait to continue to get to meet more people from around the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a relatively new member. I just heard about couchsurfing when I first moved here to the Netherlands and I can't wait to become a more involved member of this awesome community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've only used couchsurfing in the Netherlands and it was awesome. I do have a lot of friends here in Arnhem that use couchsurfing though and they've also only had great experiences with some great people.
I can't wait to move back to California and host some travelers that want to see some of what the state has to offer.
Interests
I love drawing/painting, technology, cooking, travelling, discovering new music and spending time with old and new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of types of music. Favorite band will most likely always be Phoenix.
A couple of my favorite movies are Eternal Sunshine and Lost in Translation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I finished a whole Where's Waldo book in an hour. Just kidding. I think the little things in life are pretty amazing in general. Off the top of my head I think the sun setting in Porto, Portugal was pretty breathtaking.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can pass on some of the Dutch I've learned living in Arnhem, but I'd probably be better on teaching you a little Japanese even though I'm not from Japan (half Korean). I'm a pretty good cook.
