Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I participate in CS by hosting anyone who wants to come here and by telling EVERYONE else I know to sign up and host others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many times and have been hosted twice. All my experiences have been great thus far.

Interests

Jazz and classical music; rock climbing; biking, running, hiking, backpacking; LITERATURE; art (primarily 20th century..Klee, Stihl, Rothko, DeKooning,etc); wine; meeting interesting people, travel, film, frisbee, laughter, sunshine, fresh fruit and veggies, coffee.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Coltrane, Radiohead, Mauler, Rollins, John Adams, Charles Mingus, Tool, Ella Fitzgerald are amongst my favorites. I love books as well: Deleuze, DeLillo, Kafka, Bolano, Pynchon, Kerouac, Miller. Movies: Im a big fan of Godard, Fellini, Kurosawa, early Woody Allen, Wes Anderson and Almodovar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skiing waist-deep powder with my best friend on June Mountain: I've never been more blissed-out in my life!
Also, watching Everest turn purple at sunset.
