One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I helped start a non-profit that feeds 80-300 people weekly by partnering with local catering companies. Our volunteers wash the company's dishes after their events (the company saves on wages) and pack the left-over food into nutritional portions to pass out once every week. Annual operating cost is around $200 USD and we redistributed around 10,000 plates of food from ending up in a landfill into people's bellies each year.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to play a ton of card games and how to make a delicious Cajun Parmesan Chicken dish, I want to learn local language from my hosts,
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will share, a great attitude, unique insights to growing up in a conservative home in Utah, USA, and a foreign perspective of living in a rural village in Namibia.
