The first thing about me is that I hate to talk about myself. So, as always in such cases I’ll use the quote.
“Who am I? I am a dilettante, a universal dilettante. This word comes from the Italian ‘diletto’, which means pleasure. So that is the person to whom process of any work gives pleasure”, it seems to me that the thought of D. Granin coincides with mine approach to life. Yes, I’m a professional amateur – I do what I love and love what I do.

Also I can call myself a lifelong student (not only because I’m studying the Liberal Arts and Sciences)) but as I study life in its infinite mysteries. That’s connected to my passion for travelling and photography. And travelling for me isn’t about places but people. People make places vibrant. Obviously, most of all I like being at good places with good folks. If there is also a good music – I’m in heaven. Or just at festival:) That’s why I like organizing some events, parties or just meetings.

As you might have noticed, curiosity is my gift… and nevertheless my curse! Because sometimes (always) I get into ventures, however eventually they turn out to be the most interesting things I've ever done. And couchsurfing is one of them! I did it twice with my friend and it was above all expectations, so now I decided to join the club:)

Speaking of CS, for me it's the best way to discover a new location by sharing with not only the place but knowledge and experience. We all like stories whatever they're about (except the instagram stories)). The life is full of tales and we need to share them. We need another points of view to see clearly who we are indeed.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have pretty different tastes in everything. Usually they depend on the mood. But here are some of time-tested.

Music (mostly indie or rock but can be exceptions like pop, punk, house or even hip hop): top-of-the-line RHCP, the 1975, nothing but thieves, alt-j, the Lumineers, of monsters and men, Florence + the Machine, Moby, Fleetwood Mac, The Smiths, Queen, Depeche Mode and other 80-90s oldie but goldie, Chet Baker and all that jazz..(really all!)

I often watch films only for the sake of handsome actors, that’s why automatically favorite become all films with Keanu Reeves and Benedict Cumberbatch. But I’m more a serioholic! Or perhaps ‘serials killer’ since I like some detective and crime serials such as “Lie to me”, “Bones” and “Body of Proof”. And of course I’m a fan of “Sherlock” as I literally grew up on it, considering the time between seasons)) But even younger I started to watch “Sex and the City” with my mom (mb not the most appropriate for child), but when I become older and rewatched it consciously I abso-fucking-lutely loved it!! And another one special thanks to my mom – due to her I’m obsessed with “Twin Peaks”. Here is where the pandora’s box opens.. This surrealistic and fantasy thing I found awesome in many series like “Over the Garden Wall”, “Gravity Falls”, “Rick and Morty” and “Stranger Things”. The recent series which impressed me were “Patrick Melrose” and “Good Omens”.

As for the books, I don't prefer a particular genre, I read everything and everywhere. But the one I can read forever is "The Catcher in the Rye".
