Growing up I never really had a passion or a wish to travel but suddenly I've caught the travel bug. I have a wide variety of interests and am keen to learn about other cultures. I'm a big fan of football and cricket but enjoy many other sports also.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best things about travelling are meeting locals and living like them. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to immerse myself in the local cultures of countries I am visiting. I'd also love to meet new people and learn all about where you are from and stories from your travels!

Most stories that stick in my mind from travelling involve getting to know locals so I'm keen to add to that and also to hopefully make memories with others!

Music, Movies, and Books

This is tough! I am into indie rock music and I'd say my favourite group are probably the Strokes. Though I have a wide range of music I like and would be keen to listen to any new suggestions!

I haven't seen many movies that I should have to feel I should catch up here. I'm a big fan of horror movies but can't pick out a specific favourite.

I have a similar issue with picking a favourite book, I enjoy reading though am not sure what is my favourite. I'm currently reading a book called 'man of the world' by Graham Hughes who travelled to every country in the world without flying.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some highlights from previous travelling include driving a moped through the Vietnamese countryside, watching a marathon in Prague (which I was supposed to be running) and trying happy pizza in Cambodia!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a big food lover so I'd be keen to learn how to make local dishes and hopefully share some of my own dishes with them! I also hope to add to my list of travel stories so I can share these in the future!
