I'm Tom, I'm English but currently living and working in Basel Switzerland, but more importantly I'm looking to explore! I currently work in marketing, but studied biochemistry, and grew up on a farm, I know it's a weird mix! Since working abroad I've rediscovered a love for meeting new people from different cultures around the world, I love working and living with a mix of people from around the world. Honestly I would find staying on my own in a new location only half the experience as it's people that make the place!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For two reasons: a. I really enjoy meeting new people, I'm very open - I'm currently working in Switzerland, but like to travel, and rather than travel solo I'd love to visit somewhere where I can meet the locals and share the experience. B. As mentioned I'm reasonably new to Switzerland and for anyone new here I'm happy to make some new friends especially if you are in the same boat as me, and introduce you to some cool people I've met since I've been here :-)
