About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a 21 year-old student from near Manchester, England. I'm a pretty happy, chilled, easy-going guy who loves to exchange ideas and stories with people from across the world, perhaps over a nice pint of ale. I guess my mission in life is to learn as much as possible about different cultures, how the world works, what makes people tick, but most of all to have a bloody good time!
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live.
Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After having recently Couchsurfed with a friend in Seattle, I've realised how awesome the service is. It's such a great way to meet new like-minded people and to get to know a new city.
Interests
"Music is a world within it self, with a language we all understand". Yeah, I kinda like music, a lot . I play the guitar and love to dabble in harmonica, ukulele and piano. I'm fascinated by all things business and technology. I'm also a fairly keen runner, although along my travels (and throughout the brutally cold Montreal winter, which I've experienced this year) my running has taken somewhat of a backseat. Cooking is a relatively new passion that I've taken up, any opportunity to cook and I'll take it!

Music, Movies, and Books
From reggae, to drum & bass, from trip hop to country music, there are few genres that I dislike (although, death metal is definitely one of them). Thrillers like Shutter Island and Inception are among my favourite movies (DiCaprio is a bossman), love a good cliffhanger too, but equally I'm a fan of comedies that I can quote endlessly (Anchorman and Step Brothers are the main ones here). In terms of books, I'm a fan of thought-provoking non-fiction books about technology and the world of business, yet classic works like Kerouac's 'On the Road' have been an inspiration to for me to travel the world and to hitchhike across America. Admittedly, I haven't read quite as much I would have liked to over the past couple of years, but I'm aiming to make up for it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably moving to the other side of the world to study in Montreal for a year.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - Perhaps, if you've got a disused guitar which you've never got round to learning to play, I could teach you a few chords?
Learn - With eagerness and an open mind, the possibilities are infinite
Share - Definitely not my toothbrush...
