About Me

I've been living in Glencoe, Scotland since August and am using my UK working visa to travel around Europe. I'm from Perth, Australia and have worked my whole life to travel and explore the world and hope to continue to work in hospitality and tourism.
I love finding new experiences, learning about different cultures across the globe and getting out of my comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is great to meet like minded people, who are open to meeting new people and experiences and travelling solo, Couchsurfing is perfect.

Interests

Back home I've played baseball my whole life and absolutely love the sport. I love watching and getting involved in sports, so when I travel I like to check out local sporting events.
Being up in the Scottish Highlands I've gotten more into hiking and trail walking which has been beautiful. I have . ski centre not far which means I've been able to snowboard more since I last did so in 2016 in Japan.
When I'm not out and about I'm usually tracking down gigs, festivals or planning my next adventure somewhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm throwing Bon Iver at the top of this list and will finally get to see them in April this year in Amsterdam and Berlin, which I am crazy hyped for. Catfish and the Bottlemen, Wombats and Gang of Youths are up there too and after Sziget last year there's a bunch of names which hugely impressed me aswell.
I can't go past some Black Books and IT Crowd, but for some home grown laughs Lano and Woodley are tough to beat. I'm a sucker for a sitcom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

in 2016 I was stuck in Amsterdam so bought myself a bike for $25 and spent 2 days cycling to Germany, Once I got to the border I thumbed it further and then caught 4 different trains overnight to magically arrive in Munich for Oktoberfest that morning and meet up with my pals. Can honestly say I'm still proud to say I made it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really enjoy just talking to new people, hearing stories and getting to know people who before were total strangers. I'm pretty outgoing so I'm up for adventures and making things up as I go along.
