Hi, Claire and I are in our 30s, living and working in Brisbane, but we love to travel whenever possible. We're embarking on a 6 month trip to South America later this year, and couldn't be more excited.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend and I are keen to explore as many new places as possible, and we hope that via Couchsurfing we can meet some amazing people along the way. So far we've stayed with so many incredible people in the Czech Republic, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium, and looking forward to meeting many more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Indie, rock (lots of Australian bands like tame impala, pond, san cisco, jungle giants and ball park music, as well as international acts like disclosure, QOTSA, glass animals, jungle, the darkness etc. - Far too many to mention!)

Movies - I'm a sucker for a good superhero flick, but any decent comedy, thriller or sci-fi / fantasy is usually my kind of thing.

Books - definitely a fantasy buff - lord of the rings, game of thrones, the wheel of time, the name of the wind, the Dresden files - you name it, I've probably read it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are lots... I'd say having a gap year this year and traveling around Europe rates pretty highly. Scuba diving in the great barrier reef and skiing in Japan would be other unforgettable experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

We're pretty hopeless with other languages, but really want to learn Spanish for our upcoming trip. We can recommend / show people the best of Brisbane and beyond.
