About Me

Hey there, I'm Tom! A 25-year-young guy living it up in the Netherlands. Sitting still? Not my style! I've got an insatiable appetite for adventure, and I'm constantly diving headfirst into new and exciting things.

First things first, I'm a scuba diver, exploring the deep blue wonders beneath the waves. There's something magical about being submerged in a world where fish dance and corals sway. But hey, that's not all! I've also got a knack for aerial photography. Picture this: soaring through the sky, capturing jaw-dropping shots from above that'll make your jaw drop. Trust me, it's a rush like no other.

When I'm not getting my feet wet or taking to the skies, you'll find me hitting the trails and embracing the great outdoors. Nature's my playground, and I can't resist the call of the wild. There's nothing like the thrill of hiking, surrounded by majestic landscapes and breathing in the crisp, fresh air. Oh, and did I mention running? I like that and I do that a lot too! :)

In addition to my love for scuba diving, aerial photography, hiking, and running, I'm also an avid motorcyclist. The open road beckons to me, and there's nothing quite like the thrill of exploring new destinations on two wheels. I've embarked on an unforgettable journey through Normandy and Norway so far with my motorcycle and tent and I simply, love it!

Now, let's talk about my passion for traveling. I'm a seasoned wanderer, always seeking new horizons. My last journey was in 2019, I embarked on an epic seven-month journey, from the enchanting landscapes of hobbiton New Zealand to the awe-inspiring heights of Nepal's mountains, and the sun-kissed shores of Australia. However, as much as I cherished my globetrotting adventures I realized the importance of shaping a promosing future for myself. With a desire to channel my love for aviation, I made the decision to return and pursue a bachelor's degree in Aviation Management. By the end of June 2023, I'll proudly don my graduation and be ready to hit the road once again!

And you know what really gets my engines revving? Aviation, as said before! I'm absolutely obsessed with aircrafts. The sheer power, elegance, and freedom they embody is downright mind-blowing. That's why I'm aiming to become a commercial pilot. The sky's the limit, quite literally, and I want to soar through the clouds, living out my childhood dreams. But first? Travelling :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to any kind of music. Of course every genre is not my favourite (mostly hard-rock and metallica), but I'm always open to hear something new. I also don't read many books and I don't watch movies. I prefer to sit at the dining table with beer or wine and have conversations. I would much rather do that than watch TV because I feel like it's wasting my time sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From the age of 18 I started travelling alone with the idea that I let everything come to me. In other words; not planning ahead and looking what every street corner has to offer me. It the best thing I've ever done.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Nepal, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Hungary, Netherlands
