Hi there,

I'm Tom. I am currently living in Heidelberg where I study physics.

As much as possible I love to travel and get to know new places and people. I was very fortunate to spend the year after highschool in Ghana. Since then, I have been able to backpack in Vietnam and Cambodia, visited the USA and did several camping and rock climbing trips to France.

I am open-minded and easy to get along with and looking forward to meeting you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, half the fun of traveling is getting to know the people you meet along the way. Couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet different people and to get to know a place through the eyes of people who live there and avoid the same old tourist traps.
On the flipside I want to share Heidelberg - a place I love for many different reasons - with people from around the globe.

I love to go bouldering/climbing wherever I go and I'm happy to explore new places to climb or bring you along to my local gym in Heidelberg.
Also, if you can bare it I will talk physics to you ;)

Most importantly though, I want to learn about the places and cultures I am visiting.
