I am a 24 year old chef from the UK. My greatest passion is travel and love to get off the beaten track; meet new people and experience different cultures along the way.

I'm a laid back individual and I am keen to try anything at least once, especially if food is involved. I would hope to meet people who love food as much as I do.

My brother has used couchsurfing extensively whilst travelling and recommended it as the best way to meet locals and get to know a country's culture properly. My girlfriend and I began a world trip 8 months ago and are now in Australia. We have been living and working in Sydney since January saving up for the next half of our adventure. In July, we plan to spend 3 weeks travelling around Australia and would love to meet new people in each area we stay and make some friends along the way.

When I was 16 I was lucky enough to go with a charity to Kenya to build a school for orphaned children. The memory of this is something that will stay with me all my life and has made me really appreciate everything that I have.
