Hi! My name is Tom and I live in Belgium 🇧🇪. I'm a teacher and I love to use the holidays for travelling. I really love meeting new people! That's why I made a profile here! I think it's better than staying at a hotel, because using couchsurfing makes you share stories with each other.

At the moment (July 2022) I'm staying in Austin, Texas and next month I'll be travelling along the West Coast 🇱🇷.

The biggest reason for me to be on couchsurfing, is to meet new people, to hear their stories, to get to know the local culture...
Sadly I cannot host people myself, since I'm travelling ...

Interests

I'm interested in climate change and clean energy. It's important we don't mess up the climate much more than we're doing right now! Because of that I would be interested in living in a tiny house someday using an ecological lifestyle.

Also I think it's best to life a best fulfilled life as possible. It can be hard sometimes and it takes a lot of following your feelings and not always your mind, but I think the reward will be bigger in the end.
