About Me
Tom, 26
(the bearded photos are the newest haha)
Long story short, but I'm meeting my sister in NYC in early March... Till then I'm in an open book and I'd like to explore the rich culture that the southern states have to offer.
I'm all about making friends and drinking beers, having good long chats over a cuppa. Sharing good food and cycling whenever I'm able!
If the weather was warmer I'd get a bike and cycle my way up to NYC, so instead I'm going to cheap it out and bus from city to city.
If you'd like to know more and would be interested in taking me in, I'd be more than happy to chat over WhatsApp!
Just ask for my number.
Tom
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
These days hostels aren't all that cheap compared to the average Airbnb. The downside to this is its harder to meet people and I love receiving local knowledge about great spots to eat/drink/relax. Couchsurfing helps to bridge the gap. Hope to meet some like minded people who are willing to take me on for a couple days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 15 I travelled to Vietnam on a school trip where we spent a couple weeks with the 'Sister of Lady of the Missions'. During this time we witnessed the harsh realities of a post-war torn country, examples like an Agent Orange dedicated orphanage, an inner city Women's Shelter (for single mothers who've battled abuse and worse) and corruption have left this beautiful country in disarray.
This trip single handedly made me see the world in a different light and for that I'll never take my life for granted.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm simple and uncomplicated, if things don't go 'to plan' then there's no dramas!
Always keen for an adventure and new experiences, and while I'm there I'll want to share your culture with you...whether it's food, music or stories.
