About Me
- Was aware about CS community for quite a while through friends who have used it before, but joined only recently Aug 2017, so be kind to me haha -
I'm a weird and quirky sort of person, so I'm normally surrounded by similarly crazy people! I consider myself quite active, so climbing, hiking, slacklining and most other sports are definitely in the books. But just as much as I love my outdoors, I like to have some down time too relaxing with a good read or immersing myself in the culture and the local food.
Message me at your own discretion, because if we hit it off well, we might become friends for life! Don't bank on it, but I'm sure we'll have a blast! Laters ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, to explore and to embrace the unknown. Also, I like the idea of giving back as opposed to just living your life for yourself, so in the future I want to host fellow travellers as well!
If you have any suggestions or interesting ideas about alternative lifestyle, as opposed to having to be part of the rat race, feel free to message me. I want my mind to be blown (not literally, of course). :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
Neil Gaiman - "Neverwhere"
George Orwell - "1984"
Robert Green - "The 48 Laws of Power"
M. Scott Peck - "The Road Less Travelled"
Music:
Music seems to be ever-changing for me depending on the time of the day, week or month. But just to name a few artists I like - Nirvana, Frank Sinatra, Jack Johnson, Stephen Lynch, Tenacious D, Foo Fighters.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- spent 10 days in a silent meditation vipassana retreat
- traveled for 9 months through South East Asia
- Tough Mudder UK. Was quite a personal achievement to persevere and finish the obstacle course in one piece!
- Skydiving. It was amazing! I recommend it to everyone. Thing is, whilst it is really safe, there is a small, but definite risk of injury/death. So before you jump, in one way or another you have to accept that death is part of the equation and I think that scares more people than the jump itself . :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I used to teach English as a foreign language, so that's an option. I play guitar and ukulele and whilst I'm not great at playing either, I could potentially be of use to a total beginner haha
Learn: I'm willing to try and learn anything I can get my hands on, so if you want to share some amazing hobby or want to teach me some words/phrases in your language, feel free to do so!
Share: I will share my enthusiasm and positive attitude towards life.
