Hi everyone :D I'm Tom from Wales in the United Kingdom. I have a passion for nature, culture and exploring. I've travelled in Europe for a few years now in my camper van, and I truly love it; especially the people I meet along the way. I'm very open minded, friendly and a bit of a yes man - perhaps to my detriment!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosted some couchsurfers in the Netherlands a couple of years ago and it was a fantastic experience. I love the philosophy of couch surfing and its such an amazing way to really experience a country and culture. The insights from the community of couchsurfers can be truly inspiring.

I'd also love to share my passions, wherever I might be living at that current time.

Interests

Nature and the environment is a massive interest, always has been from a very young age. I love to experience it almost every mode; from mountain biking to surfing to climbing.

I also love socialising, whether that be a book club or having wine and dinner together.

Adventures - I love to have adventures whether it be locally or in a foreign country. I love to road trip and camp specifically but up for anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Road tripping Italy in an old Rover that broke down several times. The generosity of strangers was truly remarkable. The whole road trip was full of unexpected encounters with wonderful people :D
