Overview
About Me
Relaxed, nice, creative and adventurous.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting the people of the places you visit in their daily life, through couchsurfing, seems to me the best way to really experience a city. Going to all the standard tourist attractions doesn't give me the same experience and sense of adventure. Besides that it's always fun to meet new people and see what the differences or similarities between our cultures are.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different genres, but coming from a heavy metal background I now mostly like 70s prog-rock and stonerrock. Doesn't really matter what kind of genre (in music, but also film), as long as it's made by people who are really good at what they do.
To name some: Pink Floyd, The Doors, Jethro Tull, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, Elder, Opeth, Caravan, Causa Sui, Camel, Creedence, The Beatles but also Bob Marley, RHCP, Fleetwood Mac, Daft Punk etc etc.
To name some of my favorite films: Ernest and Celestine, Sunshine, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Birdman, Interstellar, Winnie the Pooh (it's genius), Pulp Fiction
Series I watch: Vikings, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked above the polar circle for 10 days in the remote wilderness of Lapland
