Hello! Our names are Flora and Tom, we’re a couple from Cornwall, England.

We’re visiting Italy for a week or two and are looking for somewhere calm and friendly to stay!

Tom (25) is a primary school teacher and Flora (27) is a student of anthropology.

We will be travelling as a couple 😊

I just used couchsurfing for the first time, travelling across America, and met some amazing, generous people through it. It is a wonderful tool which enables connection between people without the alienation of monetary exchange.

Couchsurfing is brilliant.

Folk, art-punk, post-punk, folk-art-post-punk-punk, blues, Latin, occasional country (open to afficionados and cheeseballs), funk, soul, disco, jazz.

Movies:
Anything dry and strange, cult movies, sacharin 80s stuff, classics, badly dated films.
Withnail and I, Get Out, Bad Taste, Citizen Kane, Monty Python, Amelie, anything by Kubrick.

Books:
All sorts: Milan Kundera, Anthony Burgess, Kurt Vonnegut, Richard Brautigan. Have just re-read Kerouac, Ginsberg, Steinbeck, Emerson and Thoreau. Have been reading Garcia Marquez and Vargas Llosa recently, and I love it.

Occupied Parliament Square in London for a week as part of an XR protest, that felt amazing. Along with four other active occupation sites we basically pedestrianised Central London - all the traffic signals were still going it was surreal.
