Overview
About Me
I am a medical student and i live in a shared flat in Bern with my sister and two other girls.
I like to travel on my own, so I can meet people I would not get in touch with, when studying in Bern.
In my opinion the nice thing about traveling is to see how people in different places live and think and what atmosphere a city or country has. And not so much what touristic sites there are.
I am always interested in the things people I meet are passionate about, so i can learn something more about the world we live in.
Me and my flatmates are openminded and interested in meeting new people. We life in the center of the city, a 10 minutes walk from the main station.
We almost always have a free room and bed for someone to stay. And if not, we have an extra mattress we can take down from our pavement.
We like to welcome travelers from all over the world and share our home for some days.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think its an enrichement for host and visitor to get to know each other. I would never like to stay in an hotel because I would like to dive as deeply as possible into the culture I visite. And this works best if staying at a place where people actually live :)
