Grew up in Milwaukee and from there moved to San Diego, Atlanta and then Tampa, following job offers in mainframe software development. Hated my Corporate America cubicle based jobs and finally quit to start my own telecommunications business, just as the Internet was taking off and telecom deregulation was in full swing. Sold the business at the end of 2009 and now I just consult from home part time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a single parent of an 8 and 9 year old, along with a live-in girlfriend, 2 dogs, 2 cats and a rather large fish tank that all require attention, so travel isn't in the cards for me for quite some time. With Couchsurfing I can bring travel experiences to my doorstep.

Interests

Favorite is by far working out and if I had to pick one that would be it. From there it's boating in the spring & summer, camping in the fall & winter, with tennis, volleyball and mountain biking all in between.
