About Me
2019: I have just moved to Beijing for 4 months, and am so lost and need to know things like: who can teach me Mandarin? Where can I get decent coffee? How can I make sure there's no surprise meat in my food? How can I get hold of a bicycle? How can I even use those bikeshare bikes? All the usual anxieties...
2014: I am an EFL Teacher in Melbourne since November. Pro-book, anti-exam. I am like Ian Mckaye. In that I am a human being. That is where the similarity ends. In the end I'm like you, just another human living within patriarchy.
Currently I work a regular 9-5 job Mon- Fri. I'll be free, really only in the evenings, so you'll have to be pretty independent! But hey, if you're in Melbourne, theres beaches, museums, gigs, loads of vegan food stuff. Hip bars with hip if vacuous people! So you don't wanna just sit in my gloomy house! And I can give you some 'hot tips' about where you can go!
but when I'm about, we can hang about.
If you're my guest, please eat food that is cruelty free, I.e. no animal products. (apparently some pop icon called murder and I'm impressionable enough to believe them).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got detained and interviewed by the Russian border police for a few hours, and had very broken Russian conversations with someone who accused me of being a neo-nazi, as I had a small lightning bolt tattoo, which was misconstrued to be half an SS logo.
This wasn't fun at the time, and it's not really amazing, but it's a talking point?
Teach, Learn, Share
