ABOUT ME
I am 24, been hosting people through CS for a few years but always on my flat mates profiles. I just came back from an 8 month round the world trip, couch surfed virtually the entire time, love every minute of it! I'm sure my friends would say I'm easy to get on with, fun, but also enjoy a good debate. I have a good sense of humour and never take myself too seriously. As long as you are laid back and want to have a good time you're always welcome!
PHILOSOPHY
Be honest, open and fun and above all else keep exploring!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosted and surfed, really love the community, have only met great people, hope to meet many more!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
THE BEST! Met people who have become lifelong friends through couch surfing, hosted the same people multiple times because we got on so well!
Interests
I am working full time at the moment at a new job which is great, but in my free time I love going to films and musuems, reading, listening to music, partying with friends, drinking and most other forms of social debauchery. I enjoy lively conversations, even if we differ on points of view, actually especially if we do.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything Tarantino, biographies are a big favourite of mine, love Life On Air, auto bio of David Attenborough, documentaries (come from a family of film makers so pretty big on films!) and any media that is thought provoking or just generally interesting. All music from the 60's, 70's Zeppelin, Beatles, Stones, Fleetwood, also drum n bass, liquid, high contrast, netsky, most hospital records artists, really wide musical tastes.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled throughout most of S E Asia, loved every minute of it, even food poisoning in Myanmar was character building I'm sure. My home town in Wanaka, NZ and if you know it you would agree there aren't many places in the world like it, so just being with friends at home would have to rank pretty highly.
Teach, Learn, Share
Encyclopedic knowledge of films, all genres from the last 50 years including contemporary films. Come from a family of documentary film makers so I guess you could say it is in my blood. Also just finished a degree in Politics and Religion from Otago Uni so I guess I should probably know a thing or two about both subjects (but don't be frightened I'm not a boring/intense politician and I'm not a religious nutcase either!).
Countries I’ve Visited
France, Malaysia, Myanmar, Spain, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, New Zealand
