I'm Tom. I like to share maximum funnage. i like to laugh and learn.

I have spent all of my life in the US. I grew up in Indiana, and have lived in Wyoming, Minnesota, California, and Montana.

I'm pretty flexible, pretty appreciative. I'm fine with partying or chilling or whatever. I love to see how people live

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make new friends!

Local people: I want to meet you! Let's swim or float or play board games or watch the Osprey or camp or bocce ball or croquet.

Travelers: I have 4 roommates, so my house is usually pretty full with us and our own friends and family visiting, but you might be able to camp in the backyard for a night or sleep inside after i know you. But, I'm so i am totally down to go camping for 2-4 days in Glacier or Yellowstone or around Missoula with like whoever. My friends all work so much, so i'm counting on you. I have a car, a tent, extra tent and sleeping bags, and know some great river spots and magic, waterfall ponds. Let's go! You can try whenever, but One week ahead is okay. Two weeks ahead is great.

Interests

I spend a lot of my time experimenting with new modes of eating(especially), exercise, thinking, and living. I like to learn about spirituality, philosophy, and religion. I enjoy biking(rarely drive anywhere), walking, snowboarding, tennis, and lifting weights. I have always been interested in travel and am finally getting around to figuring out how to do it. I love meeting people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading is habitual. I read a lot of classic literature and as much random nonfiction. I'm super into John Steinbeck. Osho, Tolle, Plath, Alice Munro, Flannery O'connor, Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut

Music is my favorite thing! I especially like (instrumental, progressive, math, noise, indie, and classic) rock, and also pop, dance, and dubstep. I'm most alive when I am at a concert, and when dancing. I like to play music a lot.
