ABOUT ME

Well then, where to start! I'm a pretty openminded, easygoing guy (although my last name would suggest otherwise!). I was born and raised in a great little town in the UK called Godaming which is just south of london. Recently I've spent the last few summers, working at a summer camp in the US, which has had a huge impact on me, and led me to fall in love with Northwest America. Working with kids has also led me to seriously consider teaching as a possible future career. Right now i'm loving University life, where i get to study two of my interests (history and politics), and meet a whole load of fun exciting people! I love to travel, and can't wait to see more of the world (south America and Asia are definitely future goals!)

PHILOSOPHY

try everything once, live life to the fullest and treat others with the same respect that you would wish to receive yourself. All major cliches I know but i do mean them (promise!).

currently living in University dorms so cant host right now, but will hope to host later in the year, once i have my own house! The ideas and ethos behind this site are very appealing to me, so I cant wait to get more involved in the CS community!

None...yet! But we all have to start somewhere, right?

Interesses

music is hugely important to me, I love playing the guitar (poorly) and obsess over finding the next best song or artist. Aside from music, i love to stay active, ultimate Frisbee, is currently my main sport, but anything outdoors usually interests me. Politics and history

Music wise i'm currently on an indie/alternative kick right now; sufjan stevens, city and colour and modest mouse are current favourites, but I have a pretty broad taste. any recommendations are always welcome! Bit of nerd when its comes to books, tending to only read stuff on politics or history (this needs to change, so tell me a good book to read!)

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

driving across the US (coast to coast) was an unforgettable experience! Although me and and my friend had a few issues along the way, it was an incredible 9 days that saw us camp in the rocky mountains, hike in Illinois and eat KFC in Kentucky!
