About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world through meeting new people and sharing experiences
ABOUT ME
Born and raised in the south of England (~40 minutes from London). My father is English and my mother is Singaporean with friends and family scattered all over the world.
Seeing friends and family has taken me to many places, but there has always been a specific purpose and defined route. I'm eager to experience travelling without any clear direction. Only then I can discover the world in its rawest sense; not simply how a travel guide says I should.
I like to keep busy and am always willing to help people out to the best of my ability.
PHILOSOPHY
Live in the moment. If we're constantly waiting for the NEXT thing to happen before we allow ourselves to be happy/satisfied, we'll reach the end of our lives only to realise we never really lived.
I like quotes. Here's one of them:
“We don’t beat the Reaper by living longer. We beat the Reaper by living well.”
-Randy Pausch (1960-2008), The Last Lecture at Carnegie Mellon

Interests
anything / everything / reading / cycling / music / travel / movies / adventuring / cooking/ eating / meditating / life-hacking / philosophy
I like to learn more about the Universe and how it all works. I'm also fascinated by the underlying economics that can explain observations in the real-world (I recommend listening to the Freakonomics and NPR's Planet Money podcasts).
I try to stay in shape and have recently discovered meditation!
I like to cook and love eating food even more.
