About Me
I haven't been on Couchsurfing since 2014.
Looking back at my old profile I can't help but feel a strange mix of embarrassment and excitement - the memories re-lived, the friends made and the lame self-description about how 'being normal is boring' !
I'm a now 25 year old Australian about to move to the UK. I've been living in SE Asia for the past year, attempting to do the whole digital nomad, launch a startup thing. Now that that's over (failed?) I'm off to the UK for a few months before returning to Australia.
Being back in Europe, I'm hoping to make the most of cheap Ryan Air flights (although their new cabin baggage policy is absurd) and explore the parts of Europe I'm yet to see, parts of Scandanavia, pretty much all of Eastern Europe etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of my fondest travel experiences have been orchestrated through couch surfing.
The sort of experience you don't get staying in ho(s)tels - meeting people you wouldn't otherwise meet, seeing places you wouldn't see etc.

Teach, Learn, Share
I have a knack for finding cheap, obscure flights.
I used to bet on sports for a living, so I can teach you a bit about that.
I currently freelance as a full stack developer, if you're interested in programming or have a great startup idea.
I'm open to learning about pretty much anything!
